The time audit
Your week has 168 hours. How many are really free?
Every co-founder app asks how many hours you'll commit, and everyone types a big number. Tally works it out from your actual week instead. Try it.
of your 168-hour week
Why Tally
Built for founders who got burned by people who don't show up.
Commitment you can check
Your hours come from the time audit, not a text box. Then Tally asks again: can those hours really go to the startup? You get matched on the honest number.Elsewhere: "40 hrs/week" is a field anyone can fill in.
Matched on the gap
Tell Tally what you bring and what your idea is missing. Builder and seller, designer and engineer, domain expert and operator. You find the person who completes the team, not a copy of you.Elsewhere: a sort by job title.
A record that follows you
After you work together, partners can report someone who didn't follow through. Showing up builds your reputation on Tally, and flaking costs it.Elsewhere: bots, dead profiles and dev shops fishing for clients.
Made for students
Built for the founder with an idea in prototype or a fresh MVP who has hit the wall of building alone. Opening at USF first, then campus by campus.Elsewhere: a global pool where nobody's on your campus.
Why it's called Tally
In the 1200s, a deal was a stick split in two.
In medieval England, two people sealing a deal carved notches into a hazel stick, then split it lengthwise. You kept one half and they kept the other. The only piece in the world that fit yours was theirs. That was a tally.
A co-founder works the same way. Tally helps you find the one half that fits.
Your other half is already looking.
The first 100 people on the waitlist get their first month of Tally free, and only 97 are left. Everyone else starts with a free 2-week trial.
